Prof. Melissa Jackson
Melissa Jackson is a multiple Emmy award-winning storyteller. She spent more than 25 years in the broadcast industry producing, writing, and supervising newscasts, specials, and documentaries in the Southeast for top-rated media companies such as WSB-TV in Atlanta. She has interviewed thousands of politicians, newsmakers, and celebrities during her broadcasting career. Jackson worked full-time for media institutions and freelanced nationally and internationally as owner of her own production company. Additionally, she cooordinated media crews across the country as a media relations specialist working with A-list movie productions and television series. She taught as an adjunct lecturer at UGA’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications prior to joining Piedmont University in 2018. She is an Associate Professor of Mass Communications and recently led efforts to launch a new film production major at Piedmont. Jackson is the Co-Chair of the student scriptwriting competition for the Broadcast Education Association and a judge for the Silver Telly Council.
Mr. James Pechman
James Pechman is a Digital Media Production Expert with a background in Media and Entertainment. He combines experience in Video Editing, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, and Online Content Creation to enhance brands and develop their online presence. He currently works at Crisp as a Cinematographer/Video Editor on the Marketing team, and has created marketing videos for some of the top Law Firms in the US, the largest legal growth conference in the world, and played a key role in building a community of 476,000 followers on the Crisp CEO’s Tiktok
Mr. Darrius Terrell
Darrius Terrell is a current Social Producer for Overtime Sports and Associate Producer for the NBA. Has spent the last 5 years building social platforms and working with long form teams to shoot, edit and color films and commercials.
Mr. Raymone Jennings
Born and built in Stone Mountain GA, Raymone graduated from Kennesaw State University’s Media and Entertainment Program where he developed his signature style and techniques. His interest in film and photography and of course a bit of destiny, led him to taking filmmaking courses taught by Professor Bobby G. Raymone launched his professional career in 2019 and has since produced projects from creative business marketing videos to epic travel content. He continues making his mark in the media industry as a young and talented Atlanta-based cinematographer. In Raymone’s downtime, he enjoys searching for the next opportunity for new experiences whether it be traveling, creating, or making new friends. His camera bag is always by his side because he knows inspiration can happen when it’s least expected.
