The KSU Film Festival is presented by the School of Communication & Media at Kennesaw State University. We are dedicated to showcasing the talents and creativity of KSU students by offering an opportunity to screen their work to a broad audience. This annual event highlights outstanding student films and winners selected by a panel of judges made up of KSU alumni, faculty, and professionals in the industry.

The School of Communication & Media at Kennesaw State University prepares its graduates to be effective, life-long communicators, pro-active leaders, and scholarly practitioners who create, design, deliver, and interpret the meaning of messages in interpersonal, organizational, and societal contexts. Our graduates will be prepared to actively contribute to the continuously evolving local and global communities while adapting to the constantly changing technological environment.

Festival Director. Sangsun Choi
Prof. Sangsun Choi is an Assistant Professor of Communication in the School of Communication at Kennesaw State University. He is a visual storyteller who focuses on discovering the unique meaning behind ordinary life. His work has been screened at film festivals worldwide, including the Athens International Film and Video Festival, Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, RiverRun International Film Festival, and Sebastopol Documentary Film Festival. Additionally, he is the winner of the Best of Festival-King Foundation Award at the Broadcast Education Association Festival.
